The Dali Museum created a wonderful exhibit displaying Clyde’s photography, as well as relating the photographs to the environment in Dali’s paintings that are hanging in the museum. We received so many compliments, as well as people saying that seeing Dali’s home environment helped them to better understand the imagery in Dali’s paintings.

Our last day photographing and we were blessed with the Tramuntana Wind filling the sky with dynamic clouds. Clyde had a great time capturing the scenes because even when the wind gusts up to 40mph, rock don’t move.

One of the beautiful places we found was the Plaja de S’Alqueria Petita, a sweet little cove along the Mediterranean Sea and near Portlilgat. Clyde spent several days photographing the hard-rugged rock formations dipping into the soft sea.

Salvador Dali’s home is as unique as his paintings. It was wonderful to see that his home truly reflected who he was.

Dali found a lot of his inspiration at Cap de Creus National Park. We were fortunate The Dali Museum contacted Paul Pesudo to guide us in the Park. It is truly a geologic wonderland.

On our way to Cadaques, we stopped at Salvador Dali's Museum and Theatre in Figueres. The uniqueness of the museum is a true testament to Dali’s unusual outlook on life. A must-see if you're ever in that area of Spain.
